Located in Bellingham, WA, "Gay Inside Out" is your local Gay Community Resource Center existing to serve the unique needs of the "LGBT" communities and their allies of Whatcom County.

This is our "Home" page with the latest information from Village Vida Centre / Gay Inside Out as well as LGBT related news from Washington state and the Pacific Northwest.

As a nonprofit, 501c3, organization, our ability to be effective is dependent on the input, participation and support of our "LGBTQA..." communities.

You are invited (encouraged!) to give us your input, get involved and participate in any way that you can.

At this time, we are seeking funding for a LOCATION - A HOME WHERE WE CAN BE.

A building is needed to give us an open, safe, visible, accessible and supportive environment

where we can effectively provide necessary programs and services to the gay, transgender, lesbian, gender variant, bisexual community ... and allies in Whatcom County.

Programs and services will address LGBT issues and disparities such as: health and well-being; safety and security such as - safe schools & communities, housing, homelessness; employment discrimination; justice and equality.

Local LGBT networks and self-help groups will be able to gather in a safe & supportive community space to address LGBT issues that affect them and ultimately improve the quality of life for everyone.

This community space will be the center for events, programs, services, resources, allied organizations and community leaders and activists.
